These terms govern your use of My Lodge. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use My Lodge.

1. The service

My Lodge is a personal organiser for lodge information, meetings, subscriptions, documents, ritual learning and related activities. Features may change as the service develops. My Lodge is an organisational aid and is not an official record of any lodge, Province, order or governing body.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for protecting your password and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed without permission.

3. Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of information and files you add to My Lodge. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process, display and transmit that content only as necessary to operate the service and the features you select.

You must ensure that you have permission to upload and use all content, including ritual books, lodge wording, names, photographs, videos, summonses and agendas. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or misleading content, disclose another person’s confidential information without authority, or use My Lodge to harm others or interfere with the service.

4. Ritual and confidential material

You are responsible for deciding who may access ritual or other confidential material and for complying with the rules of your lodge, order or governing body. My Lodge does not grant you rights to reproduce a ritual book and does not guarantee that imported or parsed wording is accurate. Authorised users should review content before relying on it.

5. Google Calendar and other services

Optional integrations are also governed by the third party’s terms. When you connect Google Calendar, you authorise My Lodge to create or update relevant events and, if selected, place attachments in Google Drive. You can disconnect the integration at any time. Events and files already copied to Google remain there until you remove them from your Google account.

6. Plans, charges and renewal

Features may depend on the plan you select. Prices, billing periods and included features will be shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, paid access continues for the period purchased. You remain responsible for any lodge subscriptions or other amounts you record in My Lodge; reminders shown by the service are organisational aids and not demands for payment.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, security incidents, third-party outages or events outside our reasonable control may affect availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary and will try to give appropriate notice of material changes.

8. Backups and exports

Although we take reasonable measures to protect stored information, you should keep your own copy of important or irreplaceable documents and ritual material. You should verify calendar entries, ceremony wording and exported documents before relying on them.

9. Intellectual property

My Lodge’s software, branding, layout and original materials belong to us or our licensors. These terms allow you to use the service for its intended personal and authorised lodge purposes but do not transfer ownership of My Lodge or third-party content to you.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using My Lodge at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, investigate misuse, comply with law, address non-payment, or respond to a serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, My Lodge is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses arising from personal use, or for decisions made using inaccurate or incomplete information entered into or generated by the service.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of your relationship with My Lodge.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights and may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law or security requirements. The latest terms will remain available on this page with their effective date. If a material change affects existing users, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to their attention.
